Wi-Fi Burglar

Iowa City police took a big bite out of crime on Tuesday when they arrested a man who allegedly broke into his neighbor’s apartment just to steal her Wi-Fi password. 
The woman told police she discovered 27-year-old Christopher Cummings inside her apartment after he had broken in through a window.

She told police Cummings lives upstairs and had previously asked for the password but she wouldn't give it to him.

Responding officers said Cummings admitted entering his neighbor’s place to steal her Wi-Fi password because she wouldn’t give it to him when he asked. He was then arrested on a third-degree burglary charge.

I thought i had seen it all when i posted a blog last week about a fat cat making the news, but this one most definitely takes the cake for this semester.

Poor Fat Boy

"A Californian cat named “Fat Boy” has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. The black-and-white feline was rescued Tuesday from the top of a 45 foot high power pole in Fresno, where he had been stuck for nine days, The Fresno Bee reports. Fat Boy’s owner,  Andrew Perez, wasn’t sure how the cat got up there, but guessed that a neighborhood dog may have scared him.

The cat’s human family was worried for their pet, so the fire department and other local agencies referred them to power company Pacific Gas and Electric, according to ABC News.

“It’s not a simple thing to climb a power pole and get a cat down,” PG&E spokesman Denny Boyles told the Fresno Bee. “The first thing we have to do is de-energize the line – it’s a 12,000-volt line. The safety of the two guys who went up on the pole, and the crew member on the ground, has to be our first priority every time.

He said they usually “wait out” cats on poles, and the felines typically come down on their own, but after Fat Boy had been up there so long, they had to take action. In order for workers to get him, the company had to shut off power to about 250 homes for a few hours."

I never thought that a fat cat woul've been able to do something worth making the news, but unsurprisingly the internet has proved me wrong yet again.

Chicken N Beer

Ludacris announced his plans to open a "Chicken N Beer" restaurant in Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport nearly five years ago. Today, November 17, the restaurant has finally opened on the airport's Concourse D.

"It took me three years, but it's finally coming into fruition," he said on Instagram. "Anything that's worth waiting for is worth having, and we are finally here. I've seen it come from my third album all the way to a restaurant... I'm talking about great food, great drinks, great energy, and my employees are the best employees in the world."

The restaurant, which takes its name from Luda's multi platinum 2003 album Chicken N Beer, features a classic southern menu with chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and much more.

I'm not too sure about how good of a mix chicken and beer is suppose to be, but if i'm ever in Atlanta's airport i'll definetlyy make sure to find the time to try it.

Anti-Trump

After the 2016 presidential election, there have been  a good number of anti-trump protests across America.
Baltimore police reported about 600 people marched through the downtwon inner harbor area, with some blocking roadways by sitting in the street.
Dozens in Minneapolis marched onto interstate 94, blocking traffic in both directions for atleast an hour as police stood by.

In Denver, a crowd that was estimated to be around 3,000 people gathered on the grounds of the Colorado state capitol and marched through downtown.
In Washington DC, about 100 protesters marched from the White House, where Trump had his first transition meeting with President Barack Obama, to the Trump International Hotel several blocks away.
I cant say that i'm surprised about the protests at all after the somewhat surprising outcome of the 2016 American elections.
If Trump was nominated to run my island i'd probably throw a couple protests of my own.

Black Church Set on Fire

On Tuesday night, a historic black church in Greenville, Mississippi was set on fire, and found with the words "Vote Trump" tagged in spray paint on one of its outside walls. According to 'The Clarion Ledger website' the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church was attacked around 9 at night when no one were inside the building. Therefore  there are no suspects, but witnesses are being interviewed.
There are implications that this might be a retributive act for the firebombing of a Republican headquarters in North Carolina, but personally i don't think that it was Trump supporters that did this. You have to be a certain level of disturbed to even be pro trump, but even for a trump supporter i dont think that they would have been foolish enough to think that this act of violence would shed more light on Trump's campaign and get him more votes.

Rebel Ramsay

The "MasterChef" host is known for his harsh words on TV, but his actions got him into some trouble at his youngest child's school.

"I failed at turning up for parents evening at my kids’ school," he Said. "And then when I went to the next one with my youngest, Tilly, I asked the headmaster for a selfie, after which I got kicked out, and so I really f--ked that one up! The following day I received an email saying, 'Can you please refrain from the next parents evening—we do not need the presence of Mr. Ramsay.'"

Ramsay has four children with his wife, Tana. This summer, the couple made headlines when they revealed Tana, who had been expecting their fifth child, had a miscarriage at five months.

Is Brad Going Mad

According to reports, Brad Pitt and Maddox Jolie-Pitt were involved in a physical altercation on their way home from France, and when they briefly landed in Minnesota, it was noted that staffers at the airport could hear screaming. However, as TMZ noted, Maddox suffered no injuries during the alleged incident

Brad will not be facing charges due to the alleged fight with his oldest son.

After the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services launched an investigation into allegations claiming Brad Pitt had struck his 15-year-old son during a plane ride from France to Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Police Department turned the case over to the FBI. However, law enforcement sources have offered an update on the case, claiming the incident should have never been referred to the FBI.

Problems In Paris

Earlier this week during the Meadows Festival in NYC, Kanye West cut his set short right in the middle of performing 'Heartless' because of a "family emergency". It is now known that the cause of this was his beautiful wife Kim Kardashian West getting robbed in Paris.
Apparently, She was held up at gunpoint in her Hotel room and locked in the bathroom while the burglars stole cellphones & jewelery worth millions of dollars. The two masked men were dressed as police and so far have not been identified by police officers.
Personally i think that she should count herself as lucky, because as beautiful as she is & as sick as people in this world can be, a lot worse could of happened to her in that hotel room.

Fish Outta Water

Travis Scott has recently been hospitalized for dehydration . It is no surprise to me that Scott has worn himself out, seeing as how in this month alone he has dropped his sophomore album 'Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight', made a new global publishing deal with Universal & gone on tour.



Scott's manager David Stromberg posted a picture of him sleeping in a hospital bed, leaving tons of fans anxiously waiting to know what happened. He then added a caption to the post saying, "he's fine he was just dehydrated. ", sending a sign of relief to Travis Scott followers all across the globe.

Breezy In Trouble

Chris Brown was arrested late Tuesday night after a claim made by Beauty pageant queen Baylee Curran, that he allegedly threatened her with a gun after an argument over jewelry. The police were called to his home at 3am in the morning,where they stood outside for nearly 10 hours to wait while a search warrant was being granted. During this time,Chris supposedly threw out a duffle bag containing a gun & drugs. He was then taken to the Robbery Homicide Division of LAPD for Questioning.
